Band Bio's

About the band:
Consisting of 4 1/2 members, THEM project the sound of tomorrow while incorporating the familiar sounds of yesterday and today.

THEM was founded in 1997 by front man Denis Steuber.

Denis Steuber: Lead Vocals/Kung Fu Grip

Denis possesses a strong stage presence with high-energy vocals and a passion that defines the personality which is THEM. While belting out originals, or cover songs that rival the artists, he has a sound which is unmatched.

Influences: (Growing up) Led Zeppelin, Genesis, Run D.M.C., Chili Peppers. (Recently) Staind, Bush, 3 doors down, THEM(!), and a ton of local talent.

Equipment: The big man's vocals come directly into a Shure SM58 Cordless microphone (There is NO substitute!), and an ever increasing PA system for a sound that will grab your soul.



Wes Loveday: Bass/Vocals/NOT a porn star

Wes is a seasoned musician with knowledge of the craft which can only educate and inspire. He possesses an arsenal of talent which includes just about any instrument that comes to mind, but most importantly.... BASS!

Influences: Van Halen, Mozart, Metallica, John Paul Jones. (Today) Vertical Horizon, Dream Theater, Chili Peppers, No Doubt.

Equipment: Mike Lull Modern 5 or Fender Jazz bass into an Ashdown Bass Magnifier pumped by an SWR henry the 8x8 cabinet amongst a sea of pedals and a Shure SM58 vocal mic.




And of course... the 1/2 member of THEM!:

Denis John Steuber Jr.: Inspiration is the key ingredient in making good music, and is the single most important member, without it THEM would not exist. Denis Jr. is the foundation.

Influences: THEM, N'Sync, Smashmouth, Matchbox 20. Today (LITERALLY today) THEM, American hi-fi, Papa Roach.

Equipment: Aquired first Yamaha full scale drum kit on 2nd B-day and is his love. DJ also enjoys strumming the guitar, Harmonica (The Cats LOVE it!) as well as the egg. But as the apple does not fall far from the tree, vocals are his strongpoint.



THEM is a band on the move covering all size indoor and outdoor venues which include numerous charity and fund raising events.

Production of an all-original music CD is in the works, with a hopeful release date within the year.
